Introducing: new Ligature Management Course

Across residential care, schools, supported living environments and custodial settings, safeguarding responsibilities are under constant scrutiny. Policies are important, but when a ligature incident occurs, it is the immediate response of trained staff that makes the difference.

At BR Specialists, we are introducing a new Ligature Management course, designed to move beyond awareness and into practical, scenario-based capability. • Safe and effective use of ligature cutters

• Emergency response techniques, including controlled removal

• Coordinated team response in simulated incidents

• Documentation and evidence preservation

• Immediate support and aftercare considerations

Rather than passive learning, delegates practise the skills they may one day need to use.
