Following on from playing My 2025 Wrapped, on a well known music app... We take a look back on 2025 for BR Specialists. This year has been a year of real momentum. We've worked with more clients, gained new qualifications, clocked up serious miles across the UK, and heard stories that remind us exactly why we do what we do.

Here's what stood out.
Eight new partnerships
We've been fortunate to work with eight new organisations this year, from organisations in Wales to healthcare providers in England and Scotland and several charities. Many of them are looking to expand their training programmes into the 2026, which means a lot to us at BRS. Being part of their journey toward safer, more confident workplaces is something we don't take lightly.
Staying sharp
Professional development isn't just something we preach, it's something we live. This year, Jake and Charlie re-certified under NFPS for PMVA physical restraint, physical intervention, and breakaway techniques.
We've also added Ligature Management and Room Search qualifications to what we can offer, giving us the tools to support clients with more complex safeguarding needs. There will be more on this in the New Year, as we roll out courses that offer a focus on this.
Everything we teach has to meet the standard we'd expect ourselves. No shortcuts. In 2026 we will continue to develop our team, bringing some new members to support our growth.
An award we're proud of
In November, we won Best Personal Safety Training Company at the Corporate Vision Awards. It felt good, not because of the trophy, but because it reflected the daily commitment our team puts in.
Thank you to everyone who's been part of that: our clients, our partners, and the people we train.
All over the map
This year took us across Wales, England, and Scotland, working with teams in hospitality, healthcare, care homes, education, and frontline services. There has been A LOT of motorway driving and! Travelodge stays.
We're also packing our bags for a flight to Malta this week, which feels like an exciting step forward in a relationship with a new client on this an island nation.
A reason to celebrate
One personal highlight: our Business Growth Manager, Jake, got engaged to his partner Stephanie.
We couldn't be happier for them both. It's been a joy to celebrate alongside them.
Looking ahead
January's already filling up with bookings, both national clients and new local work here in Wales. It's encouraging to see so many organisations making safety and behavioural awareness a genuine priority as we head into 2026.
A moment that stayed with Jake, Business Growth Manager
During a refresher course this year, one of our students pulled me aside and quietly told me that what they'd learned the year before had helped them stay calm and confident during a real incident.
"That stopped me in my tracks. It's easy to get wrapped up in lesson plans, assessments, and schedules, but that conversation reminded me why any of it matters. Knowing that something we taught actually made a difference in someone's life? That's stuck with me. It was the most meaningful moment of my year."

2025 has reminded us of something simple. When you work with purpose, momentum builds. New clients, new qualifications, new territories and those moments in training rooms that stay with you long after the course ends.
We are proud of what this year has been and even more excited for what comes next. Thank you to every client, partner and learner who has shared the journey with us. See you in 2026, ready to go again.
